The Strangers is a horror film released in the United States on May 30, 2008. The film was written and directed by Bryan Bertino, and stars Liv Tyler and Scott Speedman. The film’s score was composed by the New York-based musical ensemble Tomandandy.
Harold and Kumar, Escape from Guantanamo Bay
Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay is the 2008 comedy film sequel to the 2004 film, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle. John Cho and Kal Penn reprise their roles as the eponymous stoner duo, along with Paula Garcés as Harold’s love interest, Maria. Neil Patrick Harris also returns as a satirical version of himself.

Siworae
Siworae (Il mare) (2000) - Hyun-seung Lee; un-joo moves out of her house “Il Mare”, leaving behind a Christmas card for the eventual new owner of the house in 1999. In it she asks him/her to forward any mail of hers to her new address in the city. It is 1997 and Sung-hyun, the first owner of “Il Mare” is moving in and finds in his mailbox the Christmas card from Eun-joo. Thinking it was a joke, Sung-hyun leaves her a letter telling her so and reminds her that its 1997 not 1999. Eventually the two realize that they are separated by two years of time but can somehow communicate through the mailbox and begin to form a friendship through their letters.
The President’s Barber
A well-meaning but politically naive barber gets pulled into the inner circle of the South Korean dictator Park Chung-Hee, with rather baleful consequences for his hapless family. This sharp political satire covers roughly twenty years in South Korean political history, from the viewpoint of the barber’s son. A heartwarming story, which is great fun to watch and doesn’t require any interest in Korean history, to me it’s one of Korea’s finest comedys !!
Just Do It ! - Hamyeondoinda (2000)
Four people from the same family leave home to seek consolation at the bar. Byong-hwan, while very drunk, goes outside to relieve himself on the side of the truck, and is consequently hit by the very same truck. His family is now hard pressed to come up with the necessary funds for medical treatment, with Jong-lim resorting to prayer; which they believe is responsible for the insurance company granting them $400. With the family now feeling inspired, they are encouraged to better their current situations with hard work. They then reform and start a new business, which makes them more crazy as they make more money.
